January19th,2012  WE'VE WON FOR NOW!  SOPA AND PIPA WERE DROPPED BY CONGRESS TODAY! The largest online protest in history has fundamentally changed the game. On January 18th, 13 million of us took the time to tell Congress to protect free speech rights on the internet. Hundreds of millions, maybe a billion, people all around the world saw what we did on Wednesday.
This was unprecedented. Your activism may have changed the way people fight for the public interest and basic rights forever.
The MPAA (the lobby for big movie studios which created these terrible bills) was shocked and seemingly humbled. “‘This was a whole new different game all of a sudden,’ MPAA Chairman and former Senator Chris Dodd told the New York Times. ‘[PIPA and SOPA were] considered by many to be a slam dunk.’”
“'This is altogether a new effect,' Mr. Dodd said, comparing the online movement to the Arab Spring. He could not remember seeing 'an effort that was moving with this degree of support change this dramatically' in the last four decades, he added." Looking at the games in the BlackBerry App World™ storefront over the last few weeks, we’ve seen some amazing native game titles launching.

and watch flash or flash video websites!
There's even a way to download a few of these flash videos to watch offline
and save them on your Playbook.
As such, the Blackberry Playbook does not have a way to play these files as they are unsupported
but with MovieFlvPlayer and/or Flash Video Player you can watch your favorite flash file with ease!

If you want to get rid of the menu while watching the movie, just use your finger to swipe from the top panel down to the screen midway and the menu will disappear leaving your with an unobstructed view of the movie.

LEFT VULNERABLE TO HACKERS! 
Vulnerability Lies in PlayBook Bridge Application
Who Can Access This Data?
Any native application for the PlayBook can access the .ALL file. A hacker could release a malicious application for the PlayBook that could gather private information about each user and device.
While the Bridge is active, the token is in a place that is essentially world readable. The .all file being in a place that is world readable is the thing that causes the problem with the Bridge sessions.
How Can Hackers Access Corporate Email?
If a hacker obtains a your Blackberry ID user name and password, they can access your secure corporate email as well as any accounts linked to your account such as your Paypal account in which a user could use to withdraw money from your account.
The Blackberry PlayBook issue described at the Infiltrate security conference has been resolved with BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0, which is scheduled to be available as a free download to customers in February 2012. There are no known exploits and risk is mitigated by the fact that a user would need to install and run a malicious application after initiating a BlackBerry Bridge connection with their BlackBerry smartphone.
How Should This Change my Use of the PlayBook?
If you have any applications on your Playbook that do not come from a trusted source, it is recommended that you uninstall them immediately. Do not download any further applications unless they come from a trusted source until the PlayBook 2.0 update is released.____________________________________________________________________________________________

FOR YOUR PLAYBOOK 
SimpleBrowserPlus has all the same features as SimpleBrowser (Free), adding the following:
The ability to create & edit bookmarks (Can change name, URL, and position in list)
Ad-Blocking capability (Custom block lists supported, Hosts format encouraged)
Browse in a 4 “tabbed” configuration (Open in new tab context menu)
Each “tab” (It’s more of a pane) has its own settings, so you can have each tab be set with a specific homepage and user agent string while bookmarks are available across all tabs.

Want to get the full desktop browser experience? (Change user agent string)
This is just the app you’ve been looking for then!
SimpleBrowser is just that, a simple interface for browsing the web. You get the benefit of being able to browse a website without anything else on the screen, just a nice 1024×600 window into the web.
Think of it as your web browser that truly reproduces the experience on your desktop. Set the user agent to “Firefox” and web sites will assume you’re on a desktop PC, likewise there are stored settings for iPad, and Android. If those 3 aren’t enough you can add your own custom user agent string easily.
In addition SimpleBrowser is a media friendly browser, you can open up any website you would like and the PlayBook will NOT enter standby mode. As long as your PlayBook is set to “Showcase” in the settings screen general tab, and SimpleBrowser is being displayed on the screen, the PlayBook will remain on. (This feature can now be disabled via the Settings menu!)
Many settings can be configured in the Settings menu, for example:
Home Page, Default Font Size, JavaScript, Flash, & Geolocation Control, and many others!———————— The navigation bar can be displayed and hidden with a swipe down on the top bezel.
Long press on Forward Arrow/Reload icon will load the saved homepage.
Icons in URL bar change to do different functions, you can stop a page from loading there for example.
Private Browsing – Available in settings
Text Reflow – Available in settings
JavaScript Block Open New Window – Available in settings
